PRAISE THE LORD for Tim Tebow; his football scriptures gets the WORD out freely as a testimony for CHRIST to a world that has lost its way .. also, the prison ministry is a great way to reach born-again believers or non-believers needs; bible tracts work too .. RAY

I fully ascribe to your writings. I do, however, wish to know about the inherent need for all man to follow a higher calling/being. To this day, I feel that pull and must refer to it as a yearning.
Does the Bible teach us that although we are born in sin and, as stated above, have “a nature to put self first and driven by the need for love, approval, acceptance and inclusion with others”, that we are also programed to look for and/or seek out God? I have heard several sermons dealing with this thought but as yet have had a full Scriptural understanding of this inherent yearning.
Also, using this yearning as a point of reference, is this the basis for man’s necessity to worship a higher being or deity and the plethora of religions that inhabit the earth?

what a great testimony. I, like many others, are facing tough times. I continue to sell assets, and material things that I really never needed. I know God will take care of my family and I. I would ask for your prayers and offer you mine as well for your well ebing and continue to serve our Lord Jesus Christ. I also have a special prayer request that I can relocte back to Ohio as soon as possible from the Wash dc area where I live to be closer to my aprents and brother, where I need their Christian family support.

Pastor AL, thank you for your article on Depression . . . fellow believers this can happen to anyone, no matter how many years you have been into the study of God’s word. At some point in our spiritual life, we all will need the love and encouragement from another believer that God commands us to give. Please do not be shocked, turn your back on or say “no, that believer can’t be suicidal, they have too much doctrine”. Reach out to them and help!
